Reno Antique Faire: Finding the Past in the Present

On the third Sunday of each month, the Reno Antique Faire brings together vendors, collectors and visitors interested in antiques and vintage finds. On Sept. 20, 2026, the fair was held near the Old Reno Arch, where rows of booths displayed vintage clothing, jewelry, artwork, records, furniture and other collectibles.

For many visitors, the attraction is not only in buying something old, but in the search itself. Some come looking for a particular item, while others browse from booth to booth until something catches their attention. They stop to look closely, ask vendors about prices or history, and decide whether a piece is worth taking home.

The fair draws people of different ages and interests. Some come for antiques, while others are more interested in vintage clothing, records, artwork or small collectibles. What brings them together is the chance to find something unusual, useful or meaningful.

This photo essay follows that experience from the busy rows of booths to quieter moments of browsing, conversation and choice. Together, the images show how things from the past continue to attract people, hold value and, in some cases, find new owners and a new place in the present.
